Although Capco Crane & Hoist Inc. has long been synonymous with large capacity, long span, box girder bridge cranes; the Rowley, MASS based company does also design and build , more standard, smaller capacity, lighter bridge cranes; like the bridge crane in the above picture. Several were recently installed for a local custom fabricator consisting of: 2 ton, single girder, dual motor, VFD bridge and VFD trolley speeds, 2 speed fast electric chain hoist with radio remote control, back up push button stations and warning alarms, audio and visual with the lighted beacon to warn operators when the crane is traveling.
