For over 40 years, E-Z-EM has been one of the most recognized brands in diagnostic imaging of the GI tract. From the first barium contrast systems we introduced in 1962, to today's advanced CT and virtual colonoscopy products, E-Z-EM has continually developed innovative imaging and diagnostic solutions for physicians treating GI diseases. Today, our business encompasses a wide spectrum of imaging and diagnostic modalities for the GI tract, including CT Imaging, Virtual Colonoscopy, Speech Pathology, Gastroenterology devices and accessories, and more. We have also recently entered the exciting new field of Healthcare Decontamination, where our Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion (RSDL) provides emergency service personnel and military organizations with real defense from the dangers of exposure to chemical weapons. E-Z-EM is leading provider of medical products used by radiologists, gastroenterologists and speech-language pathologists primarily in screening for and diagnosing diseases and disorders of the GI tract. Products in this segment are used for CT imaging, colorectal cancer screening, evaluation of swallowing disorders (dysphagia), and testing for other diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal system. E-Z-EM is also active in Healthcare Decontamination with its Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion (RSDL) product-a liquid skin decontaminant that breaks down chemical agents such as Sarin or VX in seconds, leaving a non-toxic liquid that can be washed away with water. The Company also leverages its capacities in manufacturing, automation and quality control by offering contract manufacturing to third-party businesses.
