We are known as the "Flat Work Specialists" and have one of the Midwest's largest and most complete machine shops dedicated to making parts flat.
Equipment capabilities include Double Disc, Blanchard, Surface Grinding along with both Single & Double Sided Lapping machines. Columbia Grinding's newest addition is a state of the art "Flat Honing/Fine Grinding" machine which can hold a thickness tolerance of +/- 1 micron in a single load.
As a job shop in nature we carry a very extensive inventory of abrasives; this combines with our many years of grinding experience giving us the ability to accomplish most any job.
Our grinding services cover the complete spectrum from one-piece orders to large production runs of 1,000,000 + pieces. We also offer value added services such as vibratory deburring and parts washing machines. Currently we maintain an ISO 9001:2008 certification.
