For Silos, Wilhelm Concrete provides complete concrete installation services from foundation through to inside floors and aeration and all installed by Wilhelm forces. For greenfield storage facilities, we also provide the foundation work for scales and ancillary buildings. Depending on what you are storing, you may be able to "freeze" down your product longer in a concrete silo versus other storage options. This could save our clients thousands of dollars each year in hydro costs for aeration fans. Also; long term costs are reduced as clients get more storage in a smaller area. This allows for more gravity feeding and less conveying saving on maintenance and power costs. Also with concrete you get faster unload discharge rates for side truck load outs than it's counterparts.
