The AC-250 & AC-500 Programmable Automatic Wire & Flexible Tubing Cutting Machine utilize intuitive computer technology for its operation. With the menu driven system, a user can control the quantity and length directly, as well as store up to 12 batch presets for recall at a later time when making repeated quantity and length runs. This micro-controller based machine uses stepper motor technology to provide incremental length control which results in more accurate positioning of the material to be cut. In addition, the cutting mechanism is controlled with a solid state device to eliminate relay failure. Sensors are installed to detect jams or stuck wire, cable or soft tubing materials. It features error screens that provide assistance in trouble shooting. Computerized length calibration is also provided to compensate for wear, different material compositions and various set-up environments. Either machine comes with steel feed rollers (standard) or rubber feed rollers for delicate materials. Each unit can be set-up specifically for your cutting needs at no additional charge using the ACME Certify process.
