JFP Technical Services, Inc. is a materials testing laboratory and metallugical consulting service, primarily serving the northeast Ohio area, but has served customers that are located worldwide. Our laboratory is located near Cleveland, Ohio, but we have the ability to perform some of our testing and consulting services on-site.

We serve the all kinds of businesses, including: manufacturing, assembly, and industrial industries, and the legal, insurance and importing businesses. Some of the industries served include: automotive, aerospace, aircraft, medical equipment and electronic assembly, off-road equipment, machining and welding, component manufacturing and product assembly.

Our services include: a full service materials and metallurgical testing laboratory performing: macrohardness, superficial hardness, microhardness and duraometer hardness, portable hardness testing; microstructure analysis; tensile/compression/torque product load testing; component and product failure analysis, first article inspection(FAI), routine material and processing quality assesments; product or material comparisons; reverse engineering, assistance in new product design or process set-up, XRF chemical analysis for Lead-free and RoHS compliance, XRF chemical analysis of child and pet toys and products for hazardous materials, nondestructive positive material identification (PMI) by XRF analysis, non-destructive metal sorting by XRF, analysis of heattreatments, plating thickness, adhesive testing, wire crimp analysis, environmental temperature/humidity testing, nondestructive testing, digital X-ray, and much more.
