Since its establishment in 1988, J-Tech has earned a solid reputation for excellence in plant layout, industrial process and machine design/build. J-Tech designers, along with their customers, combine expertise and innovative thinking to supply creative solutions to a broad spectrum of industries. J-Tech does offer a range of services that include machine design, machine design build and plant layout. For our plant layouts we do use our 3D laser scanner. The 3D laser scanner can gather existing operating plant measurements accurately and efficiently. We have been using the 3D laser scanner since 2001 and have done a lot of work in the petrochemical industry. Customers include Shell, Suncor, Esso, petrocanada, Union Gas etc. We have also done some work in the food industry for Maple Leaf, Sifto, Rothsay, etc. Our instrument creates a 3D point cloud that can be used within Autocad with a program called Cloudworx. 3D Laser Scanning is also known as High Definition Surveying (HDS), data collected is known as a 3D point cloud On the machinery side we offer SPAC tooling which is the acronym for self pierce and clinch. Tooling provided for in die applications, top down, bottom up and cam action. Also available stand alone SPAC die sets and stand alone machines.
