Dowding also specializes in the custom laser cutting, prototyping, machining, and component part double disk grinding processes. High quality, cost competitive, custom manufacturer of stampings, fabrications, assemblies, and laser cut components. Services include: Large progressive die stamping with presses ranging from 105 tons up to 1000 tons, short and medium run stamping with the ability to produce short/medium run stampings through a variety of processes including progressive die stamping & laser cutting technologies, laser cutting utilizing 8 3-axis laser cutter with speeds up to 70 inches per min and up to 1" thick cold rolled steel and 1/2" aluminum plate. We have 18 vertical machining centers that accommodate up to 65"x35", we can support your value-added needs with spot, robotic, and manual weld centers, insert fasteners and complete assembly, robotic welding, and with our metal fabrications and welded assemblies we can accommodate all your fabrication needs with press brakes up to 143 tons, laser cutting, welding, double disk grinding and roll forming. At Dowding Industries, we have two dedicated facilities to meet your stamping and sheet metal fabrication needs. Our stamping plant has over 80,000 square feet of manufacturing space. We can stamp up to 1” thick material and can coil feed up to ½ inch thick. In addition to our stamping capabilities we provide wash, deburr, spot welding, assembly, and packaging. Our fabrication shop also has over 80,000 square feet of manufacturing space for laser cutting, washing, deburring, machining, prototype development, welding, and assembly.
