OEP Couplings manufactures a complete line of high-performance, innovative shaft couplings, precisely machined from advanced materials, using the most sophisticated machining technology available. Based in rural northwest Ohio, OEP Couplings, a division of Oren Elliott Products, Inc., draws from a local labor pool rich in machining expertise, and benefits from a relatively low cost of living, enabling OEP to offer considerable value to customers in the US, Europe, and Asia. The couplings' machined subcomponents are produced on CNC Swiss screw machines with live tooling, capable of holding micron tolerances, under a quality system registered to the ISO9001:2000 standard. OEP takes great pride in long-standing relationships with many of our customers, including industry leaders in such fields as semiconductor fabrication equipment, robotics, fluid power, pump systems, analytical devices, food processing equipment, and medical equipment. OEP Couplings manufactures a wide range of flexible shaft and rigid shaft couplings including Oldham, Oldham/universal, block, jaw, universal joint and magnetic couplings. Material options for the hubs include low-friction-coated aluminum, 17-4 stainless steel, nickel-plated steel, brass and Ultem©. Material options for the midsection include Delrin© (for low-friction, long-wear, general use); PEEK (for high-temperature applications); and low-friction-coated Urethane (for torsional dampening characteristics similar to those of a jaw coupling, but with the large radial misalignment accommodation of an Oldham coupling). Shaft attachment options include set screw and clamping mechanism; bore options include plain through-bore, plain blind bore, and through-bore with keyway, in bores from 2mm (0.079 inches) up to 30mm (1.181 inches).
